Origin Story
Wood apple trees grow wild in Sri Lanka's dry zones and are one of the most beloved traditional fruits. In our food forest, they serve as hardy canopy trees that require no irrigation and provide habitat for birds and beneficial insects.
Processing Method
Ripe wood apples are cracked open, and the pulp is hand-extracted and combined with organic jaggery and a touch of spice. The mixture is slow-cooked in small batches and sealed in sterilized glass jars.
