Origin Story
Sri Lanka is home to dozens of indigenous mango varieties. Our food forest cultivates heritage varieties chosen for their flavor complexity and natural sweetness, varieties that commercial monoculture has largely abandoned.
Processing Method
Ripe mangoes are hand-peeled, sliced uniformly, and laid on clean drying racks under controlled sun exposure. The slow drying process over 3–4 days concentrates the natural sugars and preserves the vibrant orange color.
