Origin Story
Cinnamon has been cultivated in Sri Lanka for over 2,000 years. In our food forest, cinnamon grows as an understory tree alongside pepper vines, clove, and nutmeg—mirroring the natural forest structure that produces the most aromatic bark.
Processing Method
Bark is carefully peeled by skilled artisans using traditional hand-peeling techniques. The inner bark is then rolled into quills and sun-dried in the tropical Baduraliya climate, preserving its essential oils and delicate aroma.
