Black Pepper
Vine-ripened pepper from living support trees
Our black pepper grows on living Gliricidia trees within the food forest, a traditional agroforestry practice that supports the vines naturally while fixing nitrogen in the soil. The result is a bold, aromatic pepper with exceptional piperine content.

Origin Story
Pepper has been called 'black gold' since ancient spice trade routes connected Sri Lanka to the world. Our pepper vines climb living trees rather than concrete posts, creating a symbiotic system where the support tree feeds the soil and the pepper vine produces superior-quality berries.
Processing Method
Berries are hand-picked at peak maturity, sun-dried on clean elevated platforms for 5–7 days until they reach the characteristic wrinkled black appearance. No artificial heat or chemicals are used.
